1steKeuze Terms of service.

1steKeuze reserves the right to decide if, where and how a site is listed in the 1steKeuze directory.

The submitted url should meet the following requirements:

  • Language should be either Dutch or English
  • The site should have unique content that is of interest to a Dutch audience
  • The site supports multiple browsers
  • To access the site, membership and the use of cookies is not required
  • Flash, Java and other special browser capabilities are not required to view the site.
  • All links on the site work, there are no broken images and the site is not under construction.
  • These criteria are minimum requirements only, and 1steKeuze in its sole discretion, may consider other criteria before accepting or rejecting a site.

    1steKeuze reserves the right to remove a site from it’s directory or make changes to title, description and/or keywords for any reason, including but not limited to changes in the subject, focus, nature, goods or services of the website. 1steKeuze may remove your site from the database for reasons including, but not limited to, the following.

  • Your url contains content that is illegal in your country or in The Netherlands
  • Your url does not meet the requirements for inclusion in 1steKeuze anymore.
  • Your url is potentially insulting to a part of our visitors,
  • Your site encourages illegal acts
  • Your site infringes the copyrights of a third party

    If your URL is removed from the 1steKeuze index you will not be entitled any refund of any fees paid for the Service.

    Treatment of Priority listings:

    Priority listings receive preferential placement. This means they are placed above those URLs that were submitted using a free form for at least one year, providing your site continues to meet the criteria for inclusion in the 1steKeuze database.

    After one year, we will offer you to continue the priority listing service. If you decide not to continue your subscription we will consider your site for free inclusion. You will lose the preferential placement for your url in this case.

    The final title, description, keywords and category placement for your listing are decided by an 1steKeuze editor. Title and description will be in Dutch.

    Appeal

    If an editor decides not to list your site you can appeal the decision within 30 days, so you can optionally make changes to meet the criteria. 1steKeuze will have another editor review your site within 5 working days after receiving your appeal.

    If you do not agree with the final title, description, keywords or category placement of your listing you can appeal the decision. Please explain why you would like to see the changes. Another editor will review your listing again and make the changes if he/she agrees within 5 working days.

    The 1steKeuze priority service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis, without warranties of any kind. All prices for this service are subject to change, without advance notification..
